Does the co-parent need to pay?

No. Your subscription covers your account. The co-parent is invited to join on the Free plan at no cost with access to the shared calendar, messaging, and expense tracking. We do not require both parties to pay. If the co-parent wants AI features or advanced tools, they can upgrade independently — but it is never required for you to use the platform.
What if my co-parent refuses to join?

Accordly works even if your co-parent never joins. You can document all communication that happens outside the platform, log violations, track payments, record missed visits, and generate court reports entirely from your own account. The documentation you build is yours regardless of whether the co-parent participates.
Is Accordly documentation admissible in court?

Accordly's documentation is designed to be court-admissible in all 50 states. All records are timestamped, tamper-evident, and cannot be altered after creation. AI-generated reports include a disclosure statement consistent with current evidentiary standards. Accordly is Patent Pending (USPTO Receipt #75170980). How does free access for DV survivors work?

Apply through the button on this page or email safety@accordly.app. You qualify if you are experiencing domestic violence or intimate partner violence, receiving public assistance (SNAP, Medicaid, SSI), or working with a legal aid organization. No documentation is required for DV situations. Your application is completely private — the co-parent is never notified. Approved accounts receive full Safe plan features at no cost.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. When you downgrade, you keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period. When you cancel, your account moves to the Free plan and your documentation is preserved — you never lose your records.
What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your documentation is never deleted when you cancel. Your account moves to the Free plan and all timestamped records, messages, and reports remain accessible. You can export your full record at any time. If you need to close your account entirely, you can request a full data export before deletion.
